The Directors Couch – “The Vibe Here is “Green”

by Ken Simpson, Founder Skin 2 Skin Care on September 22, 2010

Renee Wiggs did not jump on the “green” bandwagon to keep up with trends.  She has helped to define them. Wiggs, owner of en-er-gy fitness and skin care studio in Sonoma, California has been promoting a healthy lifestyle to her clients long before it was the cool thing to do. Renee recently combined her love for esthetics (glow skincare) and passion for fitness into one space where she teaches fitness classes and offers spa services using Skin 2 Skin Care products.  Renee likes to keep it simple and straight forward.  She is the mother of 2, teaches fitness classes Monday-Friday at 5:45am and was looking for a skin care line that could #1 Keep up with her :)  #2 Organic and natural that was easy to work with, smells good and feels good on the skin #3 Delivers Results.  Skin 2 Skin Care was the perfect fit, especially after she tried the products out herself and is still using them.

Renee has been seeing more and more of her clients asking questions and wanting to know exactly what is in the products they are putting on their face.  From eye cream to ice cream, consumers are starting to get the hint and understand that what we put in our bodies is just as important as what we put on our bodies.  Renee understands that everyone is running from one thing to the next, one class to the next, one appointment to the next – she sees herself as a good en-er-gy provider. When she is in a session with a client or teaching a class, she uses these opportunities to ground herself and become a conduit for warmth and light.  ”En-er-gy produces heat and heat creates a glow,” is one of the ways Renee describes her business and the essence of the work she does.

In her boutique, along with the full line of Skin 2 Skin Care products, you will also find other eco-organic items like Be Present, Prana and Skeem Candles - perfect for your day at the spa and afternoon exploring wine country!

Renee challenges herself every day to be aware that her en-er-gy affects others – just like the food she eats and the products she uses makes a difference to her own body and the environment.   Simple as that.
